Beats a kick in the head

May have news on the jobs front in a week, but that's all I can say.
From March 1

I do have news. I am gainfully employed for another 6 weeks.

Okinawa Program

|

The weight loss front is not any where near where I had wanted it to be, and it is apparent to me that I need to do something drastic to curtail the way in which I eat. I used to eat well, with portion control, but the constant running, and grabbing has played hell with that. Erisa and I had done the Okinawa plan a couple of years ago, but it was at a time when I wasn't making money and it was getting very pricey. The other problem was that I had not read the book. My over-reliance definitely tried Ris's patience, and it was an unfair burden to have her baby me through the program. This time it will be different. I'm reading the book and taking charge of the meal plan. I'm going to do a check in on the 20th of every month.

March 20th (Month 1)

Weight - 182lbs. (no increase since December [minor victory that I didn't gain any])
Waist - 41 in
Hips - 41 1/2 in
Chest - 41 1/2 in
Arms - 13 1/2 in

Goals

Weight - 135 lbs (47 lbs to go)
Waist - 32 in (9 in to go)
Hips - Really, have no idea
Chest - see hips
Arms - don't even know while I'm still listing these

There they are - I've been attempting to try to loose weight (how non-committal can I get, shesh!), and now I am going to act on it.

The physical part of this program is going to include running, yoga, and aerobics.

Tomorrow is running and yoga.

Wrap, catch, move on

Oh the week. Oh the no posts. Oh the... Nope, don't have another one.

Z has been sick/teething/practicing being an air raid siren this week, and also has decided that 5 am is his time of day. I'm running on reserves I didn't even know I had, and with a combination of that and a rush project @ the Job, my brain is fried mush. Ris and Z are asleep right now, and laundry beacons.

What to say

There comes a fine line in the blogsphere (which I am not directly in, but can see from my perch up here, and, honestly, it looks like a lovely place, but not somewhere you would raise kids), when you decide how much editing you will do as you vomit out your thoughts into the ether. (there is the $5 visual for the day) There is always the worry that co-workers, bosses, friends, or other that may find your secret ramblings in their quite corner on the internet. Granted michaelseanbecker.com is not the best domain to fly under the radar with, but hey - nobody's perfect.

I feel like I am limiting what I post about, and the last few weeks I've had plenty of ARRRRGGGHHHH! To post about but have refrained. I'm hoping to reset the filter to get more out on the blog in the coming weeks/months. I have a new pilot that I'm fleshing out, and two features that I'm working on with E. May have news on the jobs front in a week, but that's all I can say.
