The new Mac mini is also said to sport a built-in iPod dock, a feature that was scrapped from the Mac mini Apple first introduced one year ago. Other hardware specifics are unknown, such as whether the Mac mini will feature video recording out of the box or whether an add-on will be offered for those looking to employ the Mac mini not as a second computer but as their living room command center.
Oh for this to be true
Erisa went to the hospital last night. Everything is fine now, but I really hate having to take my loved ones to the doctor on non-scheduled visits. Between that and Z's moring appointment, I'm done with doctors for a while. They were all great, but, seriously, no more medical things for a bit.
I am honored to be singing as Mezzo-Soprano soloist in this Handel Messiah performance in my beloved city of New Orleans, with the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans and orchestra. Please spread the word about this special concert performance.
Sincerely,
Lainie

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Symphony Chorus of New Orleans to perform Handel's Messiah
New Orleans, Louisiana, November 14, 2005 – Although Hurricane Katrina forced the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra to cancel its performance of Handel's Messiah, its principal chorus, Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, is keeping the tradition alive in the devastated city."This will send an important message to our singers, our community and the rest of the country that the city is rising from the storm's chaos and muck", said Steven Edwards, the chorus music director. Within weeks after Katrina scattered last season's 102 singers, 85 got in touch through the Internet and
made it clear they wanted to perform Messiah. One drives in each Tuesday from Alexandria; a halfdozen come from Baton Rouge. "The perseverance and enthusiasm of our singers is astounding", administrative director Jay Reso said.

The payments were going to bankrupt us (literally), so we decided not to move forward. We are still looking however, and have expanded our search. Hopefully, more news will arrive soon.
Went to the Pocket Media Expo, or the Podcast Expo. Sat through the keynote, tried to wrangle press passes, and left when we relized said press passes were allusive.
I am going to start a podcast. Why? Good question, glad you asked. Like most of the things in my life, Why Not? I have the tech, the resources right now, and I think it could be fun. I don't know the format yet, but I'm sure I will link stuff here.
