Huricane Wilma

|

For everyone who has asked:

My family in Florida is doing well. The whole family was at my parents, and while the storm hit there almost directly (I was on the phone with my Grandma P when the eye went over head), the house (except the screen room) survived in good shape. The Patterson's, never lost power (neighbor's report), and the Becker's had power within a few days.

My Mom and Dad are still without power, although Dad had to go to work Friday, and back tomorrow, and my Mom's school opens again on Tuesday.

Everyone keep a good thought for power to be restored quickly.

News and more...

In a continuing effort to make my family worry about us, we have not only been approved for the condo at the end of the block, we have put the deposit down.

We will be home owners in 6ish months.

Take a look at our future home.

For everyone who has called me recently, I just figured out how to check my voice mail, so expect a call this week.

I'll be posting pics of the new homestead as it is built.

Wheee.

Apple's holding another special event next week. I'm assuming Tuesday because they moved their usual Wednesday earnings conference call up to Tuesday night. Maybe iPod video?

Oh my, would I love a video iPod. Especially with the new schedule (you know, no TV), and riding the subway - it would TOTALLY ROCK to be able to tape shows and watch them on the road.
