June 2005 Archives
The day has finally arrived, and Erisa and I have been married longer than we dated (that's in years, it didn't occur to me to post it in months). We're going to the Pasadena Farmer's Market tonight for dinner, and horse-back riding this weekend. I'm still nervous about the horses, but I'll get over it.
Mis Padres get into town tomorrow, and I'm a bit excited :) :)
Now if I can just finish the server updates this weekend in the middle of the night, or figure out how to clone myself this afternoon. Which ever is most trouble.
I love LA.
But a lot going on. I feel compelled to write, but a) don't know what to say right now, and b) don't know what I can say about work. On the other hand, I was always told to just write if there was a question of subject matter, it would let itself be know soon enough.
I am settling into my new job very nicely, and I must say the digs are great. The equipment is more than I could hope for, and I really like my co-workers. Big pluses there. The commute isn't terrible, and I get to see the Hollywood sign for a good 10 min. on the way home. Could be a lot worse.
That seems to be all from here.
We just had a 5.3 earthquake here in SoCal. We are all fine, but Ris felt it in Burbank, and overhere in Hollywood we felt it too.
Very weird. This one was very long. Long enought to go - "Is this an earthquake?"
I am once again gainfully employeed. This time, I am sitting on the Paramount lot. So far my first day has been great, and I'm getting up to speed on the new system. June seems to be a good month for me to get work though :)
So I have seen it, but I haven't had time to put my thoughts on paper. As soon as I do, I'll post a review that will be read by three people, and still make me feel special.
