February 2005 Archives
I was struck today by how much I enjoy what I am doing right now. I get to "play" on the computer (which most people would think is hard work, but it really is fun), I'm getting to write, and every day I get to come home to the love of my life, and our beautiful son. I am not going to let this good time go unnoticed, especially after the struggles of the last three years. I've got some new projects in the pipeline that I can't talk about yet, but I will be keeping everyone up-to-date as soon as I can.
Thanks everyone for the support over the years. It is nice to be on the right track, that's for sure.
I am so ungodly tired. Zane cut his fourth tooth last night, and I was up for this one. It wasn't just that he was awake, but he was CRANKY. I'm kinda on autopilot today. Ok, maybe not kinda - TOTALLY on autopilot.
What a week. Drama in my freelance, drama at the office, and for some reason I just got 24 error emails from the RH forum. Possibly, my houses are funky. Very, very funky.
We've begun in ernest writing our first screenplay, and we actually have the first scene plotted out. Not the royal we, mind you, but Erisa and I. It's shaping up, and I think we maybe able to get a draft out the door by the begining of March. Ambitious, but really, what else have I got to do. What's that? Oh, maybe I need to re-think this.
:)
Must go, I have a cabling project. (Stupid broken cable)
Almost forgot, Amy is going to give me feed back on the draft I did of IR.Net. I was excited to have her read it when I wrote it, but as time has passed, I'm not as secure with it. We'll see how that goes.
Well, this is a busy, busy Wednesday. Got into work @ 6AM so I can leave early to drive to Beverly Hills to meet with the President of an agency that's interest in packaging the show.
Go ahead, re-read that.
I have no idea how I got to be one of the 3 people going to the meeting, or what my function is. Yeah, so preparing was very interesting.
Apparently, this meeting can lead to us getting a deal setup with one of the (cable) networks. [ED: Cable is not the only option - that's why it's in parenthsis] If you want, keep a good thought. If not - why are you reading this , anyway?
