University of Miami is still there

|

Just got back from a trip down college lane with a pit stop at Chop-Chop road.

Spent the day in Miami with Mom, E, and Z. Z got his first chop-chop (well, at least a little chicken from E's), we toured the campus - seriously there are more new buildings in the last 4 years. E said that most people would want to go back to college, if they could have it the way it was for them, but she would much rather have it the way it is now :)

Saw Dr. Alt, and now Erisa is going to be organizing a 5 year Theatre Dept reunion of the class of 2001. I'm sure there will be many more details coming so stay tuned.

That's all. Wi-Fi is wonky at the moment, so I don't know when I'll be back, but to all:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Here's to TV in 2005.

Good tidings to all

|

Out Florida trip progresses:

Xmas was excellent, we spent it in Tampa with E's family. There are lots of pictures of Zane playing with his new blocks. For the record kids toys are a whole lot more sophisticated then they were when I was little. Every thing talks or makes noise. These blocks talk and sing (when you put them into the holder thingy). Very intense.

We head to Boca on Monday. Mom and Dad are coming to pick us up, making it the longest road trip for them. I'm going to be doing some revisions to the site over the next week. Just some cleaning up and adding some IM functionality.

Merry Xmas to all, and to all a good mid-morning.

Holiday Movie Night

The long and winding road

|

We are in countdown until our trip next week. Ahhh! Much laundry, cleaning, and 4 more days of work lie ahead of us, but we'll make it.

We have to.

Another movie night coming up this week. So far we have watched:

1. Meet Me In St. Louis
2. Top Gun
3. Dawn of the Dead

Who knows what movie we'll watch this week? Anyone? Seriously, I need to know if I'm going to show up.

Anything else going on? Can't say that there is really. I've gotten into iPodding this last week, and I haven't decided whether or not I'm into it. We are debating doing a Reel Horror PodCast, but I'll have to wait until the new year.

It's 12:15, so I'm off to bed - our neighbors are either watching something with explosions, or it's the end of the world, and with the whole Red Sox and pink locus thing, hey, who knows. Time to read some Dilbert Future,

BTW - do you like the new icon that goes with this post? I drew it based on the Clerks Cartoon, and I'm very proud of it.

Food is fuel

In the long journey that is my loosing weight, I've come to a conclusion - for possibly the 5th time - that I eat like crap. Absolute garbage. I need to eat not for fun, but for fuel. Limit caffeine, drink more water, more veggies, and STOP eating fast food. Update - have not lost any weight, but haven't gained any weight. Weight gain slowed to a halt, now to reverse it.

I love Dave

Just watch the video.
