April 2004 Archives
Filming got pushed back. Bummer.
I sure haven't written in a while, and I don't have a very good excuse at all. It has been a hectic couple of weeks, and I feel like I am just now getting my bearings again. We had the baby shower this weekend (Go Carla and Dave), and we had lots of people there, including some out of towners (Hey Julia!)
Last night (Monday), was the final rehearsal for the trailer - I am very happy with my part in it. I'm hoping to take some pix this weekend when we film to post here. We'll see how that goes.
Dave and I went to see a taping of "Ellen" today. The episodes we saw will be aired tomorrow the 28th, and one interview the 29th. Very cool, but I'm never doing a taping again. Great for tourists, but it was kind of like going to work with somebody when you want their job. Mildly frustrating. That and it was a Billion degrees outside, and we had to sit on these horrid benches. But if you are in town...
Tomorrow we go see Steve Martin's play at the Geffin courtesy of Jody. Gotta love the comp tix. Yeah, free theatre. And hopefully this time there won't be any fog.
I finally got around to fixing some of the things on Reel Horror, and while not done, it looks a LOT better. Take a look at the site, and let me know what you think.
Not much else going on here right now. The house is cleanish, and I've been working on the revenue streams, so all in all a busy, busy day.
Honestly.
The trailer for the TV show films May 1 & 2. Keep good thoughts.
See right to the left of this.
Ah, sweet.
Finally, some stability. Thanks to some very good things happening in the last twenty four hours, I feel very much on an even keel. We have the house almost "baby-ready", we're taking a parenting class that is wonderful, and Erisa is doing better than I could have ever expected.
I'm starting the South Beach Diet tomorrow, not without a little guilt. I always said I would never do a fad diet, but honestly, I just need a good swift kick in the pants to curb the weight gain and send it in the other direction. I firmly believe in long term over short term, but of all the diets out there, South Beach seems the closest to a life change, and not an overnight miracle.
That's about it. House is clean, ready to move forward with April.
