Did not follow direction

It's been a very interesting few weeks. I did a presentation for Dennis Hopper's Lifetime Achievement Award at MethodFest, and Monday I went to a table read for the TV show at our new director's house. Not house, actually, 16th floor penthouse. I spent most of the read staring out down La Cieniga from 16 floors in the air.

It was at about that moment that I relized that this might acutally happen. For real, this time next year I could just have finished shooting the first season of a TV show. That's on actual Television. I don't want to put the cart before the horse or anything, but I think in the back of my mind I had a lot of doubt about the politics of this show getting on the air. Not the quality of the show or the people involved, but it is hard to get a show on TV, but after meeting at this penthouse of a director who directs TV shows, its that much closer.

Needless to say, I am now going to get headshots, and try to re-focus life/career to get it back on track. I've tried for almost 3 years now to get a "real" job, and maybe the universe is just saying, "Not for you." Looks like we'll see.
